The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Each example executed on a beveled wood panel of horizontal grain. The longer example composed of two panels of equal size. Each with its pigment layer stable and under a clear varnish that has slightly yellowed with age. Each with minor frame abrasion to the extreme edges. The long example overall with a network of craquelure. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals a few lines of touch-up to address craquelure.
